The Exhibit
Step into a painted showcase of the natural world. Both watercolor and acrylic paintings thrust the audience into the scenery of numerous locations, inspired by Beatty’s extensive travels with her husband. Vibrant color, precise detail, and a diverse palette create the balance of accuracy and artistic vision, resulting in unique and authentic pieces.
The Artist
Jocelyn Beatty is an accomplished painter whose work features vibrantly hued birds, realistic rural landscapes, and dramatic floral compositions.
Jocelyn’s work has been widely exhibited in juried, group, and solo exhibitions, earning her numerous awards and recognition.
She also teaches watercolor classes here at the Hoyt.
