Accessibility at the Hoyt

The Hoyt Arts Center is committed to making our historic spaces and programs as accessible as possible so that every visitor — regardless of ability — can fully participate in the arts. We strive to remove barriers and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.

Physical Access

• Our main galleries and classrooms in Hoyt East are accessible with ramps and elevators.
• The Period House (Hoyt West) offers limited accessibility due to its historic nature; please contact us in advance for assistance or alternative tour options.
• Accessible parking is available near both buildings. Entrances feature automatic doors where possible.

Programs & Classes

‍We offer accommodations for classes, workshops, summer camps, and after-school programs upon request. Financial assistance and scholarships are available to ensure cost is never a barrier. Many of our events and exhibitions are free and open to all.

Museums for All

‍We proudly participate in the Museums for All initiative, offering free admission to the Period House for EBT cardholders.
