Children’s Summer Art Camp

Daily Schedule

July 6 – August 6, 2027

Tuesdays – Fridays

Dropoff Begins: 8:30 am
Morning Half Day: 9 am – Noon
Full Day: 9 am – 3:30 pm (Lunch at Noon)
Afternoon Half Day: 12:30 – 3:30 pm

*Ages 3-5 are Morning Half Day only

Camp Guidelines

Drop off

Full Day/Morning Half Day

Art Camp begins at 9:00 am, Tuesday-Friday. (The Hoyt is closed on Mondays.) Check in will occur in front of the Main Entrance starting at 8:30 am. Parents are asked to accompany children to check-in on the first day.  Students will be escorted to the classroom by staff.

Note: Parents/guardians of children ages 3-5 may accompany their child to the classroom on the first day of each week.  However, adults are not permitted to stay with their child in the classroom. Please feel free to wait in the galleries or enjoy our outdoor pavilion if you would like to stay on the premises.

Afternoon Half Day

If your child is registered for the afternoon session only, drop off is at 12:30pm at the Main Entrance.  Parents are asked to accompany children to check-in on the first day.  Students will be escorted to the classroom by staff.

Lunch

Full Day students should bring a packed lunch. Please note, for the safety of our students, we are a peanut-free facility.

Snack

An afternoon snack will be served around 2 pm.  If your child has special dietary needs, please send a snack from home. However, for the safety of our students, we are a peanut-free facility.

Pick Up

Morning Half Day

Students will be dismissed from the Main Entrance (walkway) at noon. Parents are asked to wait outside and students will be dismissed to their parents/guardians one at a time.

Full Day & Afternoon Half Day

Students will be dismissed from the main entrance (walkway) at 3:30 pm. Parents are asked to wait outside and students will be dismissed to their parents/guardians one at a time.

Medication

Medications should be taken at home whenever possible. Any medication taken while attending a Hoyt Program must have a parent or guardian signed authorization: some medications also require physician’s orders. Medication must be turned in to Hoyt Education Staff or front desk prior to the start of the day. This policy applies to over the counter, prescription, and emergency medication (epi pens, etc). If your child needs to be given medication during camp, this medication form must be on file with our staff. If you have any questions, please contact Education Director Paige Kleinfelder.

Additional Guidelines

• Students must be potty trained.
• Cell phone use is not permitted during class.
• BHTs or other special education/health aides are welcome to accompany students if needed
