Our classes and workshops welcome all ages and every skill level, from absolute beginners to experienced makers. Led by supportive teaching artists in well-equipped studios, you’ll explore drawing, painting, ceramics, stained glass, music, and more. No prior experience needed, just bring your curiosity.

Classes for all ages
We’re committed to making arts and culture experiences accessible to our community. When we open our doors, we open them wide, offering full and partial scholarship opportunities for classes and camps, as well as free admission to the Period House for EBT cardholders. Support is available for families, students, and adults of all ages.
Studios & Facilities
Ceramics Studio
With dedicated space for both handbuilding and wheelthrowing, our ceramics studio has everything you’ll need to throw, sculpt, glaze, and fire your work.
Amenities and Equipment
- 10 pottery wheels
- Slab roller
- Pug mill
- Electric kilns (3) for bisquing
- Large Alpine gas kiln for glazing
- Raku kiln
- A wide range of hand tools and textures
- Clay (low to high fire), glazes, and other supplies sourced from Standard Ceramics and Mayco
- Sinks, canvas-covered tables, and ample shelving
Stained Glass Studio
Whether you are a seasoned maker or just starting out, the stained glass studio is equipped with everything you need to design, refine, and assemble your art.
Amenities and Equipment
- Weller soldering irons
- Inland grinders
- Toyo glass cutters
- A variety of pliers and hand tools
- Binned glass freely available for use and experimentation
- Extensive selection of shelved glass available for purchase
- Scrap materials suitable for mosaics (free to registered mosaic students)
- Primary copper foil and a variety of patinas, including silver, copper, and black
Classrooms
All classrooms are equipped with phones and water coolers. Each floor can be reached by elevator and features an accessible bathroom.
