Camp Guidelines
Drop off/Arrival
Camp begins at 10:00 am, Tuesday-Friday. (The Hoyt is closed on Mondays.) Check in will occur at the Main Entrance, unless otherwise stated. Students who are driving themselves should visit our Directions & Parking Page for more information.
Medication
Medications should be taken at home whenever possible. Any medication taken while attending a Hoyt Program must have a parent or guardian signed authorization: some medications also require physician’s orders. Medication must be turned in to Hoyt Education Staff or front desk prior to the start of the day. This policy applies to over the counter, prescription, and emergency medication (epi pens, etc). If you/your child needs to be given medication during camp, this medication form must be on file with our staff. If you have any questions, please contact Education Director Paige Kleinfelder.
Three New Themed Art Camps for Teens!

Designed for the artist who isn’t quite ready to hang up their camp lanyard, our new teen camps offer a creative bridge between childhood summers and adult artistry. Each week centers on a unique theme for you to explore through a variety of mediums and techniques. Enjoy all the fun of our beloved Children’s Summer Art Camp, with deeper dives into the artists and meanings behind the artworks that will be used as inspiration for the week’s projects.
Studio Camps!

Ready to truly explore and dive deep into a medium? Our studio-specific teen camps invite you to focus on a single art form for an entire week. Whether you choose ceramics, stained glass, or mosaics, you’ll work side-by-side with an experienced instructor who will guide you through every step of the process.
