Meet & Greet: Jocelyn Beatty & Students

Meet the artists and celebrate the opening of Realistic Reflections and Inspired — two exhibitions celebrating the art of Jocelyn Beatty and the creativity she has nurtured in her students at the Hoyt.

In Realistic Reflections, Beatty brings the natural world to life through luminous watercolor and acrylic paintings of brilliantly colored birds, tranquil landscapes, and striking florals. Inspired by her travels and firsthand encounters with wildlife, her award-winning work combines meticulous detail with a remarkable sense of color and place.

For more than 30 years, Beatty has encouraged countless students to develop their skills and discover their own creative voices. Inspired turns the spotlight on those students, showcasing their work alongside that of the artist and teacher who has encouraged their creative journeys.

Join us to explore both exhibitions, meet Jocelyn and her students, and enjoy an informal afternoon of art, conversation, and creative connection. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
